FGS, world-class provider of intelligence analysis, information systems, and security engineering services, announced the appointment of Grant M. Schneider as president and CEO of FGS. Schneider will commence the transition into his new role in mid-October following his departure as Senior Director of Cybersecurity Services at Venable LLP.
Grant is a recognized leader in government and industry with extensive experience driving organizational change, exceeding customer expectations, and achieving operational efficiencies. Having served as the U.S. federal chief information security officer (CISO), on the White House National Security Council (NSC) staff as a special assistant to the President and senior director for cybersecurity policy, and as the Defense Intelligence Agency chief information officer (CIO), Grant is uniquely positioned for the role of President and CEO at FGS.

Randy Johnson is stepping down after serving as President and CEO for the past 12 years and will now serve as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for FGS. During his tenure Randy tripled FGS to over 300 employees while decreasing overhead costs. “On behalf of the board, I want to thank Randy for his contributions to FGS and his dedication to our customers and workforce,” said Facchina.
