Nicklous Combs - Chief Executive Officer/President

Nicklous (Nick) Combs is a seasoned executive with more than four decades of leadership experience spanning the U.S. military, federal government, Intelligence Community, and Fortune 100 technology companies. His career reflects a rare blend of mission expertise, technical depth, and strategic vision that has shaped major national security and enterprise modernization efforts across government and industry.

A decorated U.S. Army paratrooper and combat veteran, Nick went on to serve in several senior federal executive roles, including Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer (CTO). His leadership at the Defense Intelligence Agency and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence placed him at the center of global intelligence integration, enterprise transformation, and the delivery of secure, mission‑critical technologies supporting U.S. national security.

In the private sector, Nick has held multiple senior executive positions, including Division Vice President at CACI International, CTO for EMC Federal, Vice President & CTO at SRA International, and a senior leadership role at Intel Corporation. His industry work has focused on cybersecurity, advanced analytics, cloud modernization, and driving large‑scale transformation across the Intelligence Community.

Nick completed executive leadership training at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business and coursework in Technology Management at the University of Maryland. His contributions have been recognized with two Defense Meritorious Civilian Service Medals, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Joint Meritorious Service Medal and the Army Meritorious Service Medal. He is widely regarded for his operational focus, customer commitment, and ability to build high‑performing teams dedicated to mission success.


Stephen Swift - EVP/Chief Operating Officer

Stephen Swift has a combined 43 years in the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community industry, specializing in national and tactical intelligence missions, special operations, intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance operations, Joint/Coalition operations, and command relationships from the national to component levels. He has comprehensive knowledge of and major areas of performance in program and project management, business processes and team building, program forecasting, policy analysis and implementation strategy. Throughout his career, Steve has progressively held senior and executive leadership positions with high success in building client focused relationships, managing cross-functional teams, streamlining processes and driving improved operational efficiencies to achieve strategic objectives. He holds both a bachelor's and master's degree and is a Certified Intelligence Professional.


Amanda Douglas - EVP/Chief Financial Officer

Amanda Douglas brings over 20 years of leadership experience in finance operations across both private and public organizations within the defense industry. She has successfully managed financial strategy for multiple large-scale organizations, developing rate structures, budgets, and robust financial policies aligned with government cost accounting standards. As a strategic leader, Amanda Douglas plays a key role in shaping overall business direction by aligning financial planning with corporate objectives, identifying growth opportunities, and guiding executive teams through operational and organizational change.

With extensive expertise in federal acquisition regulations and defense-specific requirements, Amanda Douglas has implemented multiple government-compliant enterprise resource planning systems and led organizations through numerous successful Defense Contract Audit Agency and Defense Contract Management Agency audits. Her strategic oversight includes building analytical tools to monitor costs and report on key performance metrics, driving operational efficiency and compliance.

Beyond finance, Amanda Douglas has over a decade of cross-functional leadership experience overseeing Contracts, Human Resources, and Security functions. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is a certified Facility Security Officer, further underscoring her comprehensive understanding of operational and regulatory requirements in the defense sector.


Steven King - SVP/Director, Air Force and IC Programs

Steve King is a career intelligence professional who has applied threat analysis and targeting methodologies in support of several generations of weapon systems, in various joint and service roles, from locations across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. He transitioned from the Department of Defense to the defense contracting community in the early 2000’s, participating in intelligence-related research and development and operations support efforts at the task level, contributing along the way through site, project, and corporate leadership roles. Steve joined the FGS team in 2012 as an Intelligence Services Division project manager and assumed his current position in October 2023.


Dan Kashporenko - SVP/Director, ONI and Physical Security Programs

Daniel Kashporenko is a Project Management Professional-certified program manager and seasoned security professional with over 25 years of project management and leadership experience, and more than 30 years of expertise in information technology, communications, and electronic security and surveillance systems. He has been with FGS since 2007, where he has led numerous high-impact programs across defense and intelligence sectors. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity, and multiple certifications including Security+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and CCNA Cyber Ops, he brings a strong background in department of defense cybersecurity tools, Risk Management Framework, and enterprise security engineering. Daniel has successfully managed and integrated physical and information security systems supporting National Security missions, sensitive compartmented information facility requirements, and Nuclear Weapons Electronic Security Systems sustainment programs. He currently oversees multiple physical security, cybersecurity, and information assurance projects at FGS, supporting the Office of Naval Intelligence and other intelligence community entities, while also managing contractor resources, ensuring compliance, and delivering innovative technical solutions. His broad technical portfolio includes enterprise networks, Linux systems, virtualization, Audio Visual Multimedia, and secure command and control center development for both continental united states and outside the continental united states locations.


Gina DeMatteo - SVP/Director, Human Resources

Gina DeMatteo is a Society for Human Resource Management and Human Resource Certification Institute Certified Professional in Human Resources whose diverse background extends to the medical, construction, and defense contracting communities. She started with the Facchina Construction Company in 2005, progressing through roles managing compensation and benefits, employee relations, talent acquisition and management, federal programs compliance, and training and development before assuming her current position with FGS as the Director of Human Resources in 2013. Gina built FGS’ current human resources enterprise from the ground-up and has recruited and transitioned hundreds of employees onto the rolls of our operations divisions and corporate staff.


Kevin Vitale - SVP/Director, Army, USMC, and SOF Programs

With a combined 34 years’ experience including over 21 years as an active-duty Senior Military Officer in the United States Army, Kevin has a long history of and continues to support the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense (DoD), and Conventional and Special Operations Military Forces worldwide. He began his military career as an All-Source Intelligence Analyst and culminated as a Senior All-Source Intelligence Subject Matter Expert while serving at every echelon in the DoD from Army Divisions to United States Central Command, Special Operations Command, and North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Prior to joining FGS, he was an Unconventional Warfare Intelligence Planner with the 1st Special Warfare Training Group (Airborne) and the United States Army Special Operations Command at Fort Bragg, NC. He is an intelligence professional with experience in land, sea, and air operations, established from his operational experience in planning, coordinating, executing and assessing real-world operations, training and exercises at the Special Operations, Joint and Combined staff levels. Kevin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Intelligence Studies from American Military University, holds a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute, and is a Certified Intelligence Professional by the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security.


Dale Hornberger - SVP/Director, Navy and AV Programs

Dale Hornberger is a Navy veteran with a combined 33 years of experience as a sailor and government contractor in the field of information technology, with a focus on networking technologies, audiovisual and radio frequency (RF) solutions. His military service included support to the Naval Security Group in Alaska, Puerto Rico and Washington, DC, encompassing RF direction finding, narcotics interdiction, direct support to the Fleet and deployment of Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System capabilities.

Dale serves in multiple roles within FGS as a Senior Vice President, Business Unit Director, and Deputy Contract Program Manager. Within these various roles, he oversees funding, planning and forecasting efforts, and manages recruiting, hiring, business development and growth initiatives. Dale fosters collaboration and coordination among Project Managers and Project Management Office toward successful communication and execution of division processes and initiatives. He has held multiple lead roles supporting Department of Defense and Intelligence Community engineering initiatives, and proactively engages with Government stakeholders for planning, implementation and successful execution of tasking and related deliverables.
